Well done Emma Stoner!

Badminton News

Emma is a disability badminton player with huge potential.

She has only just reached 10 years old and entered her first able-bodied competition, the Surrey U11B girls tournament at the weekend  and was awarded the Silver medal.

Emma has a SL3 classification which only requires her to play half court singles in a para-badminton event.  She won her medal taking on an able-bodied player in the final on full court after winning 4/5 games in the pool stages!

Emma works very hard at her fitness and technique and is a regular member of the weekly disability badminton and monthly Talent Spotting sessions at the club.  Well done Emma!!

We would also like to thank Lorraine Brydie who leads the disability coaching team and the rest of her team.
