Jahangir Khan book launch

Squash News

As a bit of fun we would like to create a montage for squash players in the 1980’s to go alongside the pictures we have from the professionals of that era.

Please can anyone who has any pictures of themselves playing squash in the 1980’s send them to

Wimbledon Racquets & Fitness Club is delighted to announce that the club has been chosen to host the book launch of the newly published Jahangir Khan 555 book.

From 6.30pm this Thursday evening there will be special guests and authors of the book Alan Thatcher and Rod Gilmour providing an Q & A session in the bar and lounge area, where you can learn more about the incredible run of 555 matches unbeaten that Jahangir went during the 1980’s.  It is a record unrivalled by any sportsman in the world.

There will be around 100 books to purchase on the evening, where you can get them signed by the authors.

Also present on the night will be Ross Norman, who was the New Zealand man to end Jahangir’s amazing run in Toulouse during the World Open final, almost exactly 30 years to the day!
