Dear member We are very sorry to have to tell you the shocking news that John Cross passed away suddenly last night. Cause of death is not as yet firmly established. It is not believed to be Covid related. John will be well known to many of you. Besides being an active squash player he has also been very generous in volunteering his time and helping to run the club.  He has been a member of the board since joining it early last year and before that he chaired the Squash Committee for many years.   Always friendly and approachable he happily turned his hand to everything that was asked of him.  In the prime of life and with a young son he will be grievously missed by many. We on the board will mourn an able and much respected colleague.
