WRFC OFFERS THE BEST JUNIOR COACHING PROGRAMMES IN THE REGION
Accredited by Badminton England as a Performance Centre, and our excellent levels of coaching and superb facilities means that we’re able to offer one of the best Junior Badminton coaching programmes in the region, if not all of the UK.
The club’s team of professional coaches are all fully qualified, DBS checked and insured to BE standards.
They have a real passion for badminton, making them inspirational role models for our Junior players!
Our new junior Academy coaching programmes are organised into 3 groups: A1, A2 and A3. We have Academy/Elite sessions during the week on an invitation basis only. Please contact Academy@wimbledonclub.co.uk for more information.

AS A NEW MEMBER, HOW DO I FIND PLAYING PARTNERS OF THE SAME ABILITY AS ME?
Thanks for asking this one, we get this a lot (!) the club staff, badminton and squash coaches are very skilled at finding the right level for you at the club, initially we suggest coming to the Beginners and Improver’s sessions on Sunday evening (Badminton 5-7pm & Squash from 4.30pm). If you can’t make Sundays then there are other sessions you can come to as a non member – just ask any member of staff.
CAN I TRY OUT THE CLUB FIRST BEFORE I DECIDE TO JOIN?
Yes, you can attend any one of the weekly badminton or squash sessions as a non member to get a feel for the place, meet the coaches and find out about how the club can suit your needs.
Unfortunately, mainly due to safety issues, we do not allow non members access to the gym. All new members must complete a gym induction and complete a pre-exercise questionnaire. Thanks for your understanding.
HOW MUCH IS MEMBERSHIP?
The club has a range of flexible membership options to suit you.
Our most popular full adult membership is £38 a month.
Junior membership is £140 per year.
No joining fees apply.

CAN I PLAY SQUASH OR BADMINTON AT THE CLUB AS A NON MEMBER?
Yes, you can play at certain club sessions.
For squash, non members can attend Sunday beginners 4.30pm – 5.30pm
Intermediates 5.30pm – 7pm. £12 per session for non members.
There are other sessions at other times…please contact us for details.
Non members can attend the club up to 3 times as a visitor after which time they must join…contact the club for details.
EQUIPMENT AND CLOTHING.
You should wear comfortable clothing, and indoor non-marking sports shoes are required to prevent the courts from being damaged.
Balls are available for purchase at reception, if required.
Racquets are available through the club shop, along with the essentials if you forget anything!

PAY & PLAY
Pay and play is an option for non members on a daily basis, subject to availability.
We do encourage non-members to join the club, which will also give you the option to book courts in advance.
