2014 Wimbledon Cup – 30th October to 2nd November
The draws have now been released for the men’s and ladies events!
We are delighted to have such a fantastic line up, meaning we will have matches of the highest quality throughout the weekend on show.
The top 6 seeds in the men’s event could leave the draw wide open with last year’s winner and World no.33 Tom Richards back to defend his title. Joe Lee world no.34, is the number 2 seed and the 3/4 seeded players are world no.51 Eddie Charlton and last year’s finalist Rex Hedrick, world ranked no.57. Home favourite Charles Sharpes currently world ranked no.68 will be looking to have his say at no.5 seed, as will world no.81 Peter Creed of Wales.
The ladies event sees world no.6 Alison Waters also back to defend her title from last year. The draw has been significantly strengthened by world no.13 Madeline Perry of Ireland, making her first Wimbledon Cup visit as no.2 seed. Both 3/4 seeds are in fine form with Emma Beddoes who has risen to no.20 in the world rankings, along with Yathreb Adel who took the world by storm last week making the US Open Quarter Finals at the age of 18 years old.
