What is the full address and postcode of the club

Wimbledon Racquets and Fitness Club, Cranbrook Road, London SW19 4HD.

Is it possible to have a badminton/squash/gym only membership, as I am only interested in 1 activity?

All of our club memberships (full, off peak, student, young adult) entitle you to use of the gym and changing room facilities (saunas, showers, lockers ) and booking rights to squash and badminton courts.

I've heard that you have to be a very good standard to play badminton @ Wimbledon

No, not at all...Yes, we have some very good international standard players, but there are club sessions that cater for all standards from absolute beginners and social players.

Does my son/daughter have to be a member to come along to the junior coaching sessions?

No, not at first it is not necessary to join the club. After 4 visits we would like him/her to join and therefore please take out a junior club membership. This is because all junior coaching sessions are subsidised by the club and therefore the membership fees goes towards making sure these sessions have the correct supervision levels. As a junior member your son/daughter can book courts, get reduced court fees, and invite friends to the club. For membership queries please contact carol@wimbledonclub.co.uk Family memberships available also.

Does the club offer a social, non playing membership?

Yes social memberships are available for a small fee. Some of our long standing senior members take up this offer when they find they can no longer play but still wish to be part of the club. For more info on any membership issue please contact carol@wimbledonclub.co.uk Thanks.

I used to be a member many years ago, can I come back without paying the joining fee again?

Yes, great to hear from you again, if its less than 5 years then please just re-activate your membership by paying the annual sub/monthly direct debit. Contact carol@wimbledonclub.co.uk Thanks.

Can I try out the club first before I decide to join?

Yes, you can attend any one of the weekly badminton or squash sessions as a non member to get a feel for the place, meet the coaches and find out about how the club can suit your needs. Unfortunately, mainly due to safety issues, we do not allow non members access to the gym. All new members must complete a gym induction and complete a pre-exercise questionnaire. Thanks for your understanding.

I have some friends staying with me for a short while, is it possible to get a membership for them?

Yes, we'll always try and work something out for your friends in terms of temporary membership for friends, contact us for details carol@wimbledonclub.co.uk
